Organized into the major areas of Avedon’s focus: Fashion, Portraiture, and Reportage, the app encourages the study and appreciation of the artist's work through in-depth descriptions of his print types and archival material and includes hundreds of images illustrating the arc of this extraordinary photographer's career. The app catalogues Avedon's most important museum exhibitions and shows selections from his long history of magazine work for Harper's Bazaar, Vogue, The New Yorker, and Egoiste.
